Final season points predictions

36 from 31 games. Straight extrapolation gives 44 pts over 38 games. I see 8/9 pts from remaining games a decent return so average points per game after 31 games likely to prove correct. Last season we had 44pts and finished 11th. All things considered unless there is a watershed change we will continue to be a team that finishes between 10th and 15th and gets 41-45 pts ( in my view ) So should be a PL team barring catastrophe and occasionally get a good cup run and a top 6 scalp. Pretty good for a club one game away from oblivion not so long ago

I reckon we will finish with 44 points and end up 12th should/ could of ended up with over 50 points this season easily if we had started the season a damn lot better

I don't think we'll get more than 4 more points and we'll have a tremor - Cardiff play Burnley, Brighton, and Fulham away and us at their place - they'll have a right go - we'll tonk Bournemouth on the final day but not easy to see where the other points are coming from, toon away is not easy, Everton seem to be clicking, might grab a point or two from the big boys but I'd say 40 or 41 points is the most likely

I suspect that we will finish on 40-43 points. So long as it's more than Cardiff and Brighton. I've not seen the accounts but I suspect that we could do with finishing as many places up the table as possible.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
