All these long term injuries

Maybe I've got me rose tinteds on but I don't remember years ago all those players with long injuries being out for more than a couple of weeks at most. Example Connor Wickam...nothing against the bloke,hope he comes back soon....just hope he aint doing a Neymar

But you're right in general - even when Wrighty broke his leg he was back quickly for the Cup Final. The 78/79 promotion team was barely ever changed. Maybe we were lucky, maybe the game is more intense but we do seem to be getting a lot more injuries than 20-40 years ago.
