Surprised yet happy to see Benteke picked in there 28 man squad. Hopefully he makes the cut for the 23 man squad and he finds some form.

Januzaj should be dropped. Chadli is good but hardly played this season so I'd imagine would be dropped. No Nainngolan which, while he's not got on well with Martinez, is a surprise. It's the World Cup and he's quality so that's a big miss for Belgium IMO. Benteke only one of 3 proper forwards, including Batshuayi who is surely not going to be 100% fit. I imagine he will make the final 23 given those two factsl

Maybe they'll want a target man option if they're chasing games? Really want Benteke to have a great World Cup and return to us full of confidence, but can't see him getting a game even if he makes the 23.

Well hopefully it means he gets his mojo back even if it means he scores a couple against us. Martinez is a rubbish manger but good motivator so a good manager from palace fans perspective. Hopefully by the time we play them we've qualified anyway.
