These two signings are pure class on what i saw yesterday. If we can pick up some more similar quality signings between now and the end of August, then who knows what we can achieve this year

I totally agree and a very worthwhile sensible thread. If we are going to play possession football these kind of players are a must have.

I haven't seen RLC play for us yet, but from what I saw at Chelsea he looks like the physical presence we need to get from box to box in midfield. I reckon the first 6 games will see a few changes before FdB sees our strongest players/formation - that's how it's going to be if we keep with this new formation.

Rather than being held to ransom by Liverpool for £30m for Sakho Frank has brought in loanee Loftus-Cheek who looks at least as good as Sakho,and Riedewald who looks an absolute snip at £8m.Two brilliant pieces of business.

Both beasts and both so good on the ball. Both will be first team starters for sure. Fantastic signings by our new manager. And only £8m spent. Ridiculously good value buisness. How anyone is still negative about the year ahead is beyond me. LoftusCheek is also a Lewisham lad. South London & Proud

FdB clearly has a great eye for talent, and is not afraid to start young players. Same story with Lokilo eith respect to players coming through the ranks at Palace. I am sure that by the end if the window we can expect two or three more signings of similar quality.
