I know we are moaning about lack of goals, but it's a lack of clean sheets that's killing us at the moment and we need to get back to that today....

I prefer us being the underdog, and I can't really see why they favour Sunderland. Defensively they're not very good, and they've scored less goals than us this season. Their home record is poor, and while our away record is poor, its worth remembering we've played all of the bigger clubs away. Against teams around us, our away record is actually quite good. No one expects us to get results from Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Stoke away from home - Against Hull, Norwich, Villa etc under Pulis our away record is pretty decent.

To be fair I tend to agree with them...it depends on what Palace turn up today

A lot of pundits fancied us last week...so yeah. I've never understood the mentality of paying too much attention to what someone else thinks when they gaze into a crystal ball.

If they were accademically qualified experts such as football statisticians, I might be inclined to regard their input. Whilst they understand the game in terms of how its played, I don't think many understand much in terms of wider aspects. Most are too obcesses with the idea of 'beautiful football'. It might be different if the qualification for pundit was knows a lot about football, rather than played at the higher levels of the game. Garry Neville I am suprised to say is a great pundit, as in Neil Warnock (always interesting, and a qualified referee). Most are like Music Journalists, abuses of synatx and core platitudes - when what you want them to be is Lester Bangs.

It's not so much the score predictions themselves, it's the insecurities of fans when it comes to someone saying something negative.
